The Ultimate Social Committee (*TUSC) has kicked off the social year with a fantastic first event – White Water Rafting. Be warned this was not for the faint hearted.
On a cold, almost snowy, day in April, the Ulti-mates got up at the crack of dawn, armed with coffee and a spot of breakfast from the famous golden arches, we set off to Bala Lake for our first TUSC adventure.
There were lots of thrills and spills on the day, but some particular highlights were;
- Certain individuals putting their wet suits on inside out
- Jon, MD, falling out within 20 minutes and before making the first rapid!
- The girls getting drowned like rats
- Chattering teeth
- Pub lunch
All in all, a fantastic day was had by all and we are all ready for the next social event.
