Studio Manager

The Role:

As a Studio Manager you will play a pivotal part in the day to day running of the Agency. You shall take a hands-on approach to managing projects within the business. You will be the central contact point for all projects that flow through the agency on a day to day basis.

Once a job has been created in the agency management system, you will develop a scheduled timeline liaising with the Account Managers. You will then coordinate the schedules of both the Creative and Web Development teams to achieve the project deadlines set by our clients.

As the StudioManager, you will monitor the resource requirements and alert management of any outside/freelance staffing requirements in a timely fashion. You will make sure that all work will be completed within the scheduled deadlines. As needed, the StudioManagerwill work with Account Managers to adjust job deadlines as needed while still meeting the Client’s needs.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of agency experience in a similar role.

Daily

  • Holding WIP Catch Up Meetings (either Dept or Company)
  • Managing and adjusting production schedule for Teams
  • Reporting on project Status, Workload and Accounts
  • Holding regular production meetings and status updates
  • Ensuring the stages of the project are met according to client and creative brief, budget, resource and deadline deliverables
  • Working across multiple projects and ensuring all parties are informed of progress and problems are informed to relevant parties quickly
  • Monitoring current traffic processes and inputting ideas on how to improve current practices where required
  • Building effective relationships with key departments, clients and staff
  • Work with freelancers and temporary contractors, getting them up to speed on jobs they will assist with.

Other Responsibilities

  • Staff holiday management
  • Monitor and Improve productivity and efficiency within Ultimate especially focusing on utilization at a depart and individual staff level
  • Report to management about the current workflow, communicate any possible issues with too much, or too little, work coming into the agency.

Longer Term Goals

  • Implementation of a digital system to improve workflow and reporting either by project, individual or department
  • Continually review and improve company process and procedures

To be considered for this senior designer vacancy, you will have the following experience knowledge, skills and attributes;

  • At least 3 years proven agency experience, with a portfolio of work that demonstrates the mix of creative, digital design and projects that shows a sound understanding of UI/UX
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
  • Real enthusiasm and passion for both creative and digital design and delivering outstanding results for clients
  • Possess the ability to take and interpret and challenge a brief
  • Firm understanding of technical / design requirements for press, print and digital applications
  • A talent for copy writing and creating messaging to support campaigns and branding projects
  • Have strong communication and presentation skills

Senior Account Manager

We are looking for an Account Manager with 5 years agency experience to join our team.

Ideally, you will have agency experience together with a good understanding of working in a creative environment. The role would be best suited to someone who is self-motivated and has lots of energy as our working environment is lively and dynamic.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for exposure working with B2B and B2C accounts, including some household named accounts. Great organisational and communication skills are essential. A creative spark and being a go-getter are both prerequisites of our team!

Your Key Responsibilities:

You will be part of the account handling team working under the head of client services:

  • Involvement in building and maintaining close client relationships – attending meetings, assisting with writing proposals and meeting follow up.
  • Responsible for developing and creating briefing documents and overseeing the completion of work
  • Using your knowledge and skills, proactively contribute to the growth of client accounts by suggesting strategic and innovative ideas alongside the account lead
  • Managing the detail of delivery of client work to deadlines and budgets
  • Liaising with internal production teams to make sure all client work is scheduled, inline with agency procedures

We’re looking for an experienced web developer to join our energetic team, becoming a key part of a highly motivated and energetic agency.
